Vaneet Sahota is a skilled lawyer on the Calgary Corcoran Law team.

Vaneet is a lawyer on the Calgary Corcoran Law team with a primary focus on family law litigation and mediation. She brings a practical, client-centred approach shaped by prior experience in the finance sector and rigorous training in legal research and advocacy.

Vaneet earned her LL.B. from the University of Buckingham (U.K.) with First Class Honours and two merit awards, including top of her class in Commercial Law and second overall in final examinations. During law school she served as the University’s LexisNexis representative, delivering basic and advanced research training; volunteered with the Citizens Advice Bureau Law Clinic; held office on the Student Law Society; and placed third in the Student Law Society Mooting Competition. She developed a strong interest in family law and ranked second in her family law class.

After moving to Calgary, Vaneet joined Corcoran Law to deepen her family-law practice. She has since worked on a wide range of matters, from high-net-worth separations, parenting and mobility disputes, support and property division, and domestic agreements, with additional experience on select civil and criminal files. Colleagues and clients value her rigorous preparation and steady courtroom presence.

Vaneet is fluent in English and Punjabi. Outside the office, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her dog and loved ones.
